Diana Stevens

Legal Secretary & Paralegal

Diana Stevens has been a valued member of NRC Law since July 2018, providing dependable administrative support and exceptional client service to individuals and families throughout Visalia, Exeter, Tulare County, and California’s Central Valley. A lifelong Central Valley resident from Exeter, California, Diana brings more than a decade of legal industry knowledge to the firm. She completed the highly respected Paralegal Program at the College of the Sequoias (COS) in 2010, earning certifications as a Paralegal, Legal Secretary, and Law Office Clerk. She also obtained specialized certifications in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy procedures, providing her with a strong foundation in legal documentation, case management, and court processes. Before joining NRC Law, Diana worked as a Family Law Paralegal, gaining valuable experience assisting clients with divorce, child custody, support matters, and other family law issues. Her background allows her to understand the challenges clients face during difficult legal situations and provide compassionate, professional support throughout the legal process. As Legal Secretary at NRC Law, Diana plays an important role in keeping cases organized and ensuring clients receive prompt, courteous assistance. Her attention to detail, extensive legal training, and commitment to service make her an invaluable resource for both clients and attorneys. When working with clients across Visalia, Exeter, Tulare, Porterville, Hanford, and the surrounding Central Valley communities, Diana strives to create a welcoming experience and help guide them through every step of their legal matter.

Marlene Paniagua

Senior Legal Assistant

Marlene Paniagua has been a dedicated member of NRC Law since June 2014, serving as a Legal Assistant and providing essential support to attorneys and clients throughout Visalia, Tulare County, and California’s Central Valley.

Raised in Strathmore, California, Marlene has deep roots in the local community and a strong understanding of the people and families NRC Law serves. She attended Strathmore High School and continued her education at the College of the Sequoias, building the foundation for her successful career in the legal field.

With more than a decade of experience at NRC Law, Marlene plays a key role in maintaining efficient case management, client communication, document preparation, and day-to-day office operations. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to exceptional client service help ensure that every client receives prompt and professional assistance throughout their legal matter.

Marlene takes pride in helping clients navigate the legal process and understands the importance of clear communication during what can often be challenging times. Her friendly approach and extensive experience make her a valued member of the NRC Law team.

Outside of the office, Marlene enjoys photography and spending time with her family on RV adventures throughout California and the western United States. Her appreciation for travel, family, and community reflects the same values she brings to her work every day.

Serving clients throughout Visalia, Strathmore, Porterville, Tulare, Exeter, Lindsay, and surrounding Central Valley communities, Marlene is committed to helping NRC Law deliver trusted legal services with professionalism and care.

Ryan T. Nelson

Attorney

Mr. Nelson was born and raised in the Central Valley, with Visalia being his home for over 30 years. After graduating from Golden West High School, he attended law school while working at the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. He then worked for one year as a law clerk in the Fourth District Court, Department II, in Elko, Nevada. He returned to Visalia in 2009, to join Nelson, Rozier, & Christenson and continue practicing law.

Mr. Nelson currently practices in the areas of personal injury and education law. He also practices in insurance defense with a focus on Civil Rights litigation. He is admitted to practice before California and Federal Courts.

He remains active in the community through coaching local athletic teams and by serving in his church and other local organizations. Mr. Nelson is married and has 4 children.

Clayton J. Christenson

Mr. Christenson is a native of Porterville, California. After earning his Bachelor’s degree, Mr. Christenson was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to study law at Brigham Young University. While in law school, Mr. Christenson worked as a clerk for the firm of Howard Lewis & Peterson and as an assistant for Professor Larry Farmer’s class on Legal Interviewing and Counseling. Mr. Christenson graduated from law school magna cum laude in 2014.

Mr. Christenson practices in the areas of personal injury, and employment law. He is admitted to practice before California and Federal Courts.

His hobbies include playing sports, reading, and spending time with his family. He and his wife live in Visalia and have two children.
